We're better together... That’s what snowmen taught us

“Geez, these days these days!” Don’t they have us all wanting to emote with loud, crunchy guitars and vocal chords squeezed to their limits? So while I tried to avoid writing too specifically about these days, the stories my muse chose to tell were those that required the sound of our times, the sound of our falling apart, barely holding it together. The sound of ragged, torn n frayed rock n roll.

The album and song of the same name is inspired by Sam Kiefer’s reaction to the eclipse of 2017 which as the totality surrounded us went like this... “Oh my god! What is my life right now?”

This album is my answer to this question. Like the sun, and my son surely, we are all born to shine!

This project provided the opportunity to turn you on to one of my favorites, Kevin Junior, by covering his song Telegram. And in doing so made for a sweet duet with my daughter Dylan. She sounds great!

I’m thankful for the help and patience of my family to make it possible. To Sam, Li and Dylan for limitless inspiration to create something that outlasts me. They themselves are a result of and an ongoing renewable supply of that desire. And of course my closest partner in this journey, Joy, with whom I’ve grown and learned so much.
